The
Ian Ritchie Roadshow has been established for over ten years and
has been well received all around the world. Ian has performed
in front of thousands of people in many prestigious venues from
small country hotels through to international venues such as The
Savoy in London.
Ian
started in the entertainment business at school on the technical
side, operating and installing sound and lighting equipment for
large indoor and outdoor productions. From there he went on to
organise small disco's for local clubs and community centres.
His first major break came when he was asked to tour Germany and
Holland. The tour was hugely successful and resulted in six further
tours of Europe entertaining British troops in the thousands.
Since
1996 Ian has been involved in hospital radio in the Northwest,
at Fazakerley Hospital in Liverpool and more recently at Southport
Radio presenting his own show twice a week. In 1997 Ian managed
to enter the Military Circuit entertaining thousands of troops
throughout the UK.
In 1999 Ian decided to further his career in the Radio industry
by learning to produce and present radio shows at the studios
of Century 105 in Manchester.
Since
then he has gone on to perform in venues such as The Lansdowne
Club (London), The Grosvenor House Hotel (London), The Conrad
International (London) and many other five star venues throughout
Europe. In 2001 Ian had the pleasure of performing at a wedding
at the highly acclaimed Coombe Abbey for OK magazine.
Having
worked with many big name attractions Ian has become accustomed
to the professional standards that are required in the entertainment
industry. Ian is reliable, professional and a first rate Disc
Jockey with a great personality.
Having
performed at over 900 weddings Ian has developed a special type
of show to include the Bride, Groom and all the family playing
a wide variety of music from Glen Miller to the present day.
